Welcome to Peppyhop
Peppyhop is a search engine that's all about making product discovery efficient and fun! Our proprietary algorithm helps users find products that are often buried in the search results of traditional search engines.
Our team of two, consisting of Shubham Sinha and Dirgha Prasad, comes from diverse tech backgrounds. As fans of emerging D2C brands we strongly believe that many niche brands can become huge if they can crack their discoverability early.
We recognize that both consumers and independent creators face challenges with discoverability. Consumers often come across cool products or brands on social media, but struggle to recall the name when it's time to purchase, resorting to search engines like Google or Bing, where the search results are often dominated by sponsored ads. Independent creators with limited resources find it difficult to compete with these big brands, further hindering their discoverability.
That's where Peppyhop comes in. We primarily focus on hunting for brands that are in the nascent stage and utilize publicly available product catalogs to efficiently categorize them using our smart technology.
Unlike social apps, users who land on Peppyhop have the primary intention of discovering and purchasing something new. We help them by providing a frictionless discovery experience. Once users find what they're looking for, all transactions happen on the original website of the brand. With Peppyhop, we hope to make product discovery a more enjoyable and hassle-free experience for both consumers. At the same time we want independent creators to focus more on their products and leave the technology part to us.
